This isn't very profound, but I was just noticing 'news' URLs really
act like URNs: they name the information, independent of the news
server from which you are supposed to get it.
Perhaps there isn't so clear a distinction between Ns and Ls as we'd
like?
[I was also noticing that news message IDs use lots of characters not
in the URL allowed subset, but that's a different discussion.]
