Call for POSTER SESSIONS to be given at the conference:
"THE UPSIDE OF DOWNSIZING: USING BI TO COPE"
Sponsored by the University of California at Santa Barbara
Library the conference -- which is being held March 24-25,
1994 in Santa Barbara -- will focus on using library
instruction as a creative response to diminishing resources.
Poster Sessions are being solicited to accompany the
meetings of this day and a half conference. We seek
proposals for sessions covering a wide range of library
instruction-related areas, including teaching styles,
marketing BI services, Internet classes, Hypercard programs,
BI program administration, and related topics.
Poster sessions will be presented twice (in duplicate
sessions) during the conference. Applicants will be notified
by October 30, 1993 of decisions on poster session
acceptance. Conference registration fee of $125.00 will be
waived for poster session presentors.
