This raises a very important question of privilege affecting absentee
members. The bylaws would be the place to look this up.
Proxy voting through a neutral referee would be fair (is it tactful
to mention referees to someone from Georgia Tech after Saturday? :)

Since the question has still not been taken up by either of the mysterious
missing chairmen (strange how Jim goes to Canada and disappears:), the motion
is still mine, so I can incorporate some of your changes and then move
