It is my recollection is approximately the same as Mitra's, although I
thought that perhaps the exact description of the nntp url hadn't been
spelled out and would be proposed on the list. So, I would say that
of the people there, there was rough consensus on the fate of "news:"
and the existence of "nntp:", but not necessarily of its exact form.
