The main URL issues that come to my mind are whose resolution I am
uncertain of are:

* ambiguity of / within FTP URLs: is it part of the 'get' or part of a
'cd'. Keith Moore proposed that / means a directory boundary, and that
other uses be escaped.

* telnet URLs: do they include rlogin, tn3270, telnet-with-local-echo

* news vs nntp URLs

* new kinds of URLs being proposed: whois, etc.

* wrappers
