Subject: the URL document
Sounds to me like you should just procede ahead. I also am anxious to
see things completed at this point. Who is writing the URL
requirements document? What is it's state? Shouldn't that really
come first? My vague recollection is that it was essentially done at
some time that has faded into the misty past, at least for me. Or has
it faded so much from my mind that I've lost track of its completion?
Looking back at the proposed new charter for the URI WG, the URL
requirements doc (and standard) were to have been submitted in May.
By the way, while we're at it, could whoever is working on the URN
spec please send out a draft of its current state, so that we can get
that completed as well?
Karen
