since I am much more an occassional observer to the URI WG than a strongly
involved contributor I do not want to comment on your request right now.
However I would like to point at information that probably is missing.

I fail to find any full reference to "your" specification; can you provide
a working URL for the documents?
Further information on contacts, mailing lists, archives might be of interest
as well.

Does this mean that your group has elevated the XFN spec already in June
(before the the Toronto IETF btw) to a status that is your equivalent to
to IETF proposed standard (or even draft standard)?
