1. Is IETF an open body which priamary goal is to collect all users
requirements and produce open standards OR is it intended to be
vehicle to back "closed groups" and or vendors interest?
2. OSF request is not to be taken into account until
- their specification is freely available on the net
- they accept discussion and are ALSO committing to possibly
revise their specification in the light of these open
discussions.

I have some sympathy with xfn, but I suggest to stop any debate around
xfn until they comply to point 2 above.
If they stand on their position, I suggest to broadcast widely the message
that OSF is a war machine against users, and to propose to organize
a boycot of OSF technologies when they don't suit user needs. And we users
will decide what suits us and what not.
