I agree with your suggestion for changing the text about legacy
support, as well as the other points you made. I'm comfortable having
this in the wings, but I suggest we hold off with actual changes until
the IESG decides whether they see any need for a change. Assuming we
are generally in agreement about Larry's suggestion, we can certainly
tell the IESG what we've agreed to and let them decide. I believe it
is in their ballpark now.
